A bit of small print:

• All prices are calculated per person and per day, including half-board, excluding local tax.
• There is a reduction of 10.00 euros for bookings of nights with breakfast only. 
• For nonconsumed meals we refund you 8.00 euros if you let us know by 10:00 in the morning that you will not be having dinner.
• In case of weekend bookings, the price for the previous full week applies. 
• For stays of less than 5 nights (in summer less than 2 nights) there is a surcharge of 5.00 euros per person and per day. 
• Two "Rosalie Type" rooms accessible for guests with impairments.
• Single room surcharge: 12.00 euros per day in a double room "Maria" and "Nina", 18.00 euros in all other categories. You will always be given a double room for single use.
• In our hotel, dogs are only allowed in summer and only after contacting us beforehand.
• Your room is available from 15:00, and we ask you to vacate it by 10:00.
• In case of early departure or late arrival, we are entitled to charge you for the full number of booked days minus a flat fee for the missed meals.
• Obligatory surcharge on Christmas Eve 15.00 euros per adult incl. menu, festive celebration with Zillertal folk musicians and a small gift.
• For New Year's Eve 20.00 per person (children free of charge) incl. menu, midnight snack, and fireworks.

The weather:

go here for a relatively reliable and regional weather forecast: go to http://wetter.orf.at/tirol, the Zillertal is in the eastern half of the Tyrol, the value given for Innsbruck applies to us as well, and so you always have the most up-to-date accurate information.

Children's rates in winter:

• up to 2 years: 7.000 euros per day for your little darling
• from 3 to 8 years: 50% reduction of the respective day price in your chosen category 
• from 9 to 14 years: 30% and from 15 years 10% reduction in the parents' room;
• in the JULIAN room: a general 30% reduction on the day price

Children's rates in summer:

• up to 2 years 100% reduction for stays of at least 4 days, in all other cases 7.00 euros per day,
• 3 to 9 years 31.00 euros per day also for stays of at least 4 days, else 50 % reduction of the respective day price and
• from 10 to 15 years 50% reduction of the respective half-board price. 
• Ask us for reduced rates for singles with child (in the off-season I am very generous in these matters :-) ).

Our returning guests will receive a refund equivalent to the amount of local tax if they stay at least one week and this is at minimum their fifth visit. Our way of saying thank you for their long loyalty to the Platzlhof!

Deposit:

If this is your first booking with us, we ask for an expense-free deposit to our account no. 520.320 at the Raiffeisenbank Vorderes Zillertal, bank code 36229, IBAN: AT04 3622 9000 0052 0320/BIC (Swift) RZTIAT 22229. Ideally, you pay your bill on the evening before your departure. Obviously, our senior manager would prefer it greatly if you paid in cash :-). However, we also accept your Maestro cash card, VISA or Mastercard.

Cancellation conditions:

Up to 3 months before arrival, cancellation is possible free of charge. A service fee of 50.00 euros is retained; the rest will be refunded to you. 

From 3 months to  1 month before arrival we keep the deposit (however: if there is no loss for us and we are able to re-rent the room for the same price, we will refund your deposit minus a service charge of 50.00 euros)

From 1 month to 1 week before arrival the cancellation fee is 70 % of the booking price minus a flat fee for unconsumed meals.

In case of a cancellation within one week before arrival, we must charge 90 % of the booking price. For early departures we charge 100 %. 

Travel insurance:

• It happens more often than you think: you can't go on your planned holiday, or you have to travel home before the planned date. And to make matters worse, there are the cancellation fees to consider.
• As our special service, WE offer you the Hotel Cancellation Plus Insurance, which amounts to 5% of your holiday price (of course excluding ski pass), and we will gladly arrange everything for you.
