Kaltenbach is the location of the bottom station of the Ski Dorado Hochfügen-Hochzillertal. Called "The best connection", the ski area comprises 155 perfectly-groomed piste kilometres from here to Hochfügen. Two 8-seat cable car lifts make waiting times a thing of the past. Nighttime skiing is a very special attraction that is offered twice weekly. The free ski bus, which stops at our Hotel Platzlhof, takes you to the bottom station in only 10 minutes.

Tourist kindergarten

In addition to the already established tourist kindergarten in the top station of the Hochzillertal cable car lift, now there are two others at the panorama restaurant in the ski area Hochfügen as well as in the top station of the Spieljochbahn lift. (The tourist kindergarten is not tied to skiing lessions. Theese can be booked at the respective ski schools.)
